InnoStar participated in the 29th Annual Meeting of the American Society of Gene & Cell Therapy (ASGCT), held in Boston, USA, from May 11–15, 2026, as part of the “China CGT Solutions” joint pavilion organized by CSGCT. Together with industry partners across China’s CGT ecosystem, InnoStar engaged with global researchers, biotechnology innovators, pharmaceutical companies, and industry peers to exchange perspectives on cell and gene therapy (CGT) development and emerging industry opportunities. InnoStar also participated in the satellite symposium, “Discover the Real China CGT & IIT Landscape,” including the roundtable discussion “From IP to PI: China IIT is Real,” where participants explored the evolving China IIT ecosystem and opportunities for international collaboration in CGT innovation.

China’s growing CGT ecosystem is attracting increasing global attention, particularly in the area of investigator-initiated trials (IITs). With expanding translational capabilities, clinical resources, and an increasingly mature development ecosystem, China IIT pathways are becoming an important component in supporting early clinical exploration for selected CGT programs. For global innovators, IIT studies may help generate early development insights and contribute to more informed development decisions.
As a dedicated service provider supporting innovative drug development, InnoStar continues to strengthen its capabilities in advanced therapeutic modalities, including cell therapy and gene therapy. The company provides comprehensive nonclinical safety assessment, PK/PD evaluation, and translational research services designed to accelerate global therapeutic development.

To date, InnoStar has supported more than 160 cell therapy projects and 110 gene therapy programs, including 118 IND-enabling studies and 27 investigator-initiated trial (IIT) projects. Among these programs, 56 have successfully achieved IND approvals, reflecting InnoStar’s growing experience in supporting advanced therapeutic innovation.
The growing international dialogue at ASGCT 2026 further highlighted the increasing importance of global collaboration in accelerating next-generation therapies. Through continued scientific engagement and industry partnership, InnoStar remains committed to contributing to innovation in the CGT field and supporting the development of transformative therapies for patients worldwide.
